Blue Bits & Bobs

Colour is important. Yet, it’s often taken for granted or little understood. Employed with subtlety, colour can enhance our lives, set the tone, and communicate complexity very simply. An individual’s selection of colours says something about their character, their aspirations, and their aesthetic sensitivity. I like to collect colour, and tend to start with a combination I have seen in life to inform my palettes. In this Journal series, I will share with you my colour finds.

Blue bits and bobs: A lovely little collection of old labels, invoices, tickets, pharmacy tubs, and Japanese yen banknotes (the illustrations are beautiful)…
