A brand shaped over time

Long Barn

Long Barn is a Hampshire-based retail and lifestyle brand rooted in lavender, craft, and a strong sense of place.

Over a six-year period, I worked closely with the founders to shape how the brand was articulated and experienced, across identity, campaigns, retail, and digital presence.

The work was not defined by a single moment, but by continuity. A visual and verbal language was established and developed over time, allowing the brand to evolve while remaining recognisable.

Campaigns were approached as extensions of this foundation. Seasonal narratives informed installations, in-store experiences, and content, creating a rhythm that reflected both the product and its context.

The physical space played a central role. Displays, materials, and moments of interaction were treated with the same attention as packaging or imagery, ensuring a consistent experience across touchpoints.

Alongside this, digital channels were developed to mirror the brand's tone and pace, building a loyal audience through clarity rather than volume.

During this period, the business navigated moments that required careful and considered communication. The response remained measured and consistent, maintaining alignment with the brand’s values while engaging with a wider audience.

What emerged is a brand defined not by a single identity, but by a sustained way of working, considered, place-led, and built over time.
